Following are the major organizations/programs in the UAE serving the youth sector:
  1. The Federal Youth Authority, which functions under the Ministry of Culture and Youth. The Federal Youth Authority was established in 2016 to create and implement a National Youth Strategy that cultivates the optimal ecosystem for all Youth to succeed in productive, healthy and character-focused lives.
This is no small task; with 49% of the UAE’s population under 35 and more than 60% of the MENA region under 30, the FYA aims to harness the energy, talents and ideas of the largest and most rapidly growing demographic into innovation, market opportunities, policies and culture creation for the next 50 years.

MBRF aims to empower future generations and enable them to devise sustainable solutions to facilitate the process of knowledge and research in the Arab World. The Foundation is committed to create knowledge-based societies throughout the region by funding research projects, activities, and initiatives. There are five Youth Councils which serve as the central form of volunteer governance over many of the Youth initiatives and points of engagement:
  • Emirates Youth Council (EYC)
  • Local Youth Councils (LYC)
  • Global Youth Councils (GYC)
  • Inter-Ministerial Councils (IMC)
  • Corporate Councils
  1. The Youth x Hub is another FYA initiative, meant as home for Youth to connect them to people, power and potential. The Youth x Hub welcomes Youth from all walks of life, aged between 15 and 35 – whether students, employees or entrepreneurs. The Hub serves as the platform to connect Youth to each other, bounce thoughts back and forth, and launch-spring their ideas.
  2. The Emirates Foundation “Shababna” Platform: Shababna is the Emirates Foundation Advisory Program through which youth can propose ideas and initiatives and voice their thoughts and aspirations.
It aims to create an enabling environment for Emirati youth to innovate and actively participate in redesigning the Foundation’s youth agenda, allowing them to contribute to the socio-economic development of the nation.
  1. The Arab Youth Center (AYC) was established to realize the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, to empower young Arabs and address their needs. The Center offers a unique platform to develop youth capabilities and support innovation and creativity among youth. AYC implements purposeful initiatives across diverse sectors, in addition, it conducts research on young Arabs to help decision-makers shape policies that enable their progress.
